Composers Institute is held at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Junior Composers Institute and Junior Composers Studio are held in the summer.

Junior Composers Institute provides composition training for students. The objective is to provide encouragement and stimulating instruction, fostering creativity. The one week institute is ideal for ensemble composing and songwriting.

The Junior Composers Studio is a one week experience designed for a group with students interested in learning film and game scoring.

Junior Composers Summer Camp Scholarship: A student applying for this scholarship must have participated in the Minnesota Federation of Music clubs Junior Composers Contest in January of the year of scholarship award. Four $500 scholarships are available. First and second place winners in Levels 3 and 4 will automatically be offered a monetary scholarship. In the event that one of the four winners declines the scholarship, written applications from other non-winning Contest entrants in Levels 3 or 4 will be considered.
