2024 – State Meeting – Virtual April 20, 2024

• Festival entries are decreasing.
• Organize virtual meetings for Festival Managers and Record Keepers.
• Most clubs are using the Vivace online Festival registration system.
• New Popular Music event added to Festival.

2024 – State Meeting – Virtual July 24, 2024

• Shirley Erickson appointed to be the next MFMC treasurer.
• Thank you to Gwen Degner for her years of service as MFMC treasurer.
• Budget discussed and no need for raising of any dues or fees.
• Social media committee established to help boost increase in membership.
• Sue Quist appointed as Insurance coordinator.
• Sarah Twedt and Grace Kopitzke will be Festival Co-Chairs.

2025 – State Meeting – Virtual April 26, 2025

• MFMC Finance Committee met in April, and the minutes are on the MFMC website.
• 2024-2025 membership: Senior 276, Junior, 2597, Adult 20.
• 2025 Biennial State Student Audition Winners: Aeda Villnow, Quinn Eisenbacher, John Peter Moes
• Grand Cup – Noah Scharback, President’s Cup – Vladimir Tsiper

• Two Tuition Assistance Grants Awarded
• Election of officers: President: Sarah Twedt, Secretary: Mary Kaye Rabaey, Treasurer: Shirley Erickson, Historian: Karen Erickson
• Club presidents shared highlights of their year

• Guest speaker: Heidi Hong, 1st Vice President NFMC
• Guest performer: Misha Galant, NFMC 2025 Young Artist Piano Winner
• Membership Report: 273 Senior Members   2,530 Junior Members   22 Adult Members
• NFMC Awards: Lucia Munoz (National Music Week Essay), Mallory Jirik (Ruth B. Robertson Music Therapy), Caitlin Cox (Joyce Walsh)
• Festival: one Grand and three Presidents Cup recipients
• One Tuition Assistance Grant awarded
