• Election of state officers:  Mary Wescott, President – Nancy Fisher, 1st Vice President – Sarah Twedt, 2nd Vice President, Mary Kaye Rabaey, Secretary – Gwen Degner, Treasurer – Karen Erickson, Historian – National Board Representative, Cheryl Schmidt
• Special Guest: Karen Bourne, North Central Region 1st Vice President
• Nadine Berg becomes new MFMC Festival Chair
• State Sudent Auditions had three winners

2016 – Executive Board Meeting – Bethlehem Lutheran Church – St. Cloud, MN – April 9, 2016

• NFMC notification of price increase in Festival Cups
• Two Festival Grand Cups and Four President Cups recipients
• Discontiue monetary awards for Grand and President Cup recipients
• Scholarships and Grants committee places caps on amounts of monetary distribution
• Two scholarships awarded for students to attend International Music Camp

2016 – All Members Summer State Meeting – Bethlehem Lutheran Church – St. Cloud, MN – July 27, 2016

• Membership dues increased to $30.00
• Highlights shared regarding the NFMC National Convention
• Discussion regarding obtaining grants via the Arts Legacy Fund to help with Festival expenses.  MFMC can be the fiscal host for these grants
